Dance video, which has been prevailing in Europe and America, is a unique art genre that encompasses the aesthetics of dance and video. As the Jumping Frames Dance Video Festival to be held from 12 to 13 December 2009 in Guangzhou, this University Lecture Tour, presented by Raymond Wong, curator of Jumping Frames Dance Video Festival, together with Maurice Lai, renowned Hong Kong dance video director, will introduce the art of dance video from its history, development to future trend. Various dance videos from different countries as well as previous commissioned works of Jumping Frames will also be screened.
