Jumping Frames International Dance Video Showcase 2009

Following the resounding success of the 3rd Jumping Frames held in October 2008 in Hong Kong, the Festival also brings the excitement of dance video to mainland China. With the support of national and international partners, selected works have been screened in Beijing, Macau and Guangzhou.

This year, CCDC will expand the programme by organising Jumping Frames International Dance Video Showcase 2009 to present the best of the world’s recent dance videos and animations selected from Europe, the US and Israel and provide Hong Kong dance and video artists opportunities to develop their works through One Minute Solo Dance Video Competition, talks and post-screening discussion sessions. It serves as a platform for audience and artists, locally and internationally, to discuss and explore the unlimited possibilities of dance video in both artistic and cultural context.
